I launched the first iteration of actual Job Labels, a catalog of Job Label Templates. The goal is to seed a Job Label with baseline requirements using skills and Skill Points – part of the patented learning labels platform.

Like with the recent release of actual Learning Labels, with these Job Label Templates, we are looking to get a few hundred of these labels right before scaling.
One area of interest is the two algorithms used to calculate Skill Points. This is one strength of the patent. My team is looking for researchers to participate on a federal grant we were invited to participate in based on the Skill Points derivation.
There are many advantages in using Job Labels and the platform they are part of. I think they could change how students and workers prepare for jobs.
By separating past experience and first year application of skills, they take the initiative to get a job- not entirely driven by a credential.
